Thinkific

Evendeals connects directly to Thinkific. It can read your products, create regional coupon codes, track coupon redemptions, and install the display script on your Thinkific landing pages automatically.

You do not need to paste a script into your course or theme.

Requirements

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• Permission to install apps on the Thinkific site
• At least one Thinkific course or other product
• An Evendeals account
• A published landing page if you want to test the offer publicly

Draft products can be selected in Evendeals, but students cannot purchase them until they are published in Thinkific.

Install Evendeals

1. Open the Evendeals listing in the Thinkific App Store.
2. Select Install.
3. Review the permissions on the Thinkific consent screen.
4. Approve the installation.
5. Sign in to Evendeals, or create an account if you do not have one.
6. Follow the onboarding steps to finish linking the Thinkific site.

After installation, Evendeals adds its Site Script to your Thinkific landing pages. The connection appears under Dashboard → Integrations in Evendeals.

If you already have an Evendeals account, sign in to that account during the installation. Evendeals will link the Thinkific site to your active product instead of creating a separate account.

Create a Thinkific deal

1. In Evendeals, open Dashboard → Deals.
2. Select Create Deal.
3. Choose PPP Discounts.
4. Enter a name for the deal.
5. Open the Products dropdown and select the Thinkific products that should accept the discount.
6. Optionally set a coupon prefix.
7. Choose how long the discount should apply to subscription payments.
8. Select Create Deal & Continue.

Evendeals creates a Thinkific promotion and coupon for each active discount group. You can find the generated coupons in the Coupons section of your Thinkific admin.

Configure regional discounts

Open the deal's PPP Pricing tab. Each group contains countries with similar purchasing power.

1. Set the percentage discount for each group you want to support.
2. Leave a group empty if visitors in those countries should not receive an offer.
3. Select Sync Coupons after changing the discounts.

The generated coupon codes are read-only in Evendeals. Change the discount in Evendeals and sync it instead of editing the coupon directly in Thinkific.

Choose where the offer appears

1. Open the deal's Add to Site tab.
2. Add the public URL of each Thinkific page where the offer may appear.
3. Use a wildcard when multiple pages share the same URL structure.

Add both your thinkific.com URL and your custom-domain URL if visitors can use either version. Evendeals only returns an offer when the current page matches an allowed URL.

The Thinkific app installs the required script automatically. Do not also add banner.js through page code, theme code, or a tag manager; loading it twice can cause duplicate requests and displays.

Configure the display

Open the deal's Display tab to enable and customize the offer shown to eligible visitors. Thinkific landing pages support Evendeals banners and popups.

You can configure:

• Headline and offer text
• Coupon-code and country variables
• Colors and typography
• Call-to-action text and URL
• Popup timing and dismissal behavior
• Countdown timers

Use Show preview to inspect the design before testing it on the live course page.

Test the integration

Use a published test course before enabling the deal for customers.

1. Confirm the course URL is listed under Add to Site.
2. Confirm the relevant country has an active discount.
3. Enable at least one banner or popup.
4. Open the public course landing page in a private browser window.
5. Confirm the offer shows the expected country, discount, and coupon code.
6. Copy the coupon and test it in Thinkific checkout.
7. After a test order, confirm the redemption appears in Evendeals analytics.

If you are testing from a country without a configured discount, temporarily add that country to a group and sync the coupons again.

Reconnect Thinkific

If the integration becomes disconnected:

1. Open Dashboard → Integrations in Evendeals.
2. Choose Thinkific and enter the site's thinkific.com address.
3. Continue to Thinkific and approve access again.

Evendeals updates the existing Site Script when one is already installed; it does not intentionally add a duplicate.

Uninstall Evendeals

Only a Thinkific Site Owner or Site Admin can manage installed apps. Follow Thinkific's app management instructions to uninstall Evendeals.

After uninstalling:

• Thinkific revokes Evendeals' access to the site.
• Evendeals marks the integration as disconnected.
• Linked deals remain in Evendeals but no longer sync with Thinkific.
• Evendeals displays should stop appearing on the Thinkific site.
• Existing coupons may remain in Thinkific. Delete them from Thinkific if you no longer want customers to use them.

You can reinstall Evendeals later and create or sync new coupons.

Troubleshooting

No products appear

Create a product in Thinkific, then reload the Evendeals deal page. Draft and published products can appear in the dropdown.

Coupons are missing

Open the deal's PPP Pricing tab and select Sync Coupons. If syncing still fails, reconnect Thinkific from Dashboard → Integrations so you can approve the required permissions again.

The offer does not appear

Check that:

• The page URL matches an allowed URL
• A banner or popup is enabled
• The visitor's country has an active discount
• The Thinkific course landing page is published
• banner.js was not also added manually

If you dismissed a popup while testing, retry in a private browser window.

The connection expired during installation

Restart the installation from the Thinkific App Store. Installation links and authorization attempts expire for security.

If you still need help, use the support form or email [email protected]. Include your Thinkific site address and the Evendeals deal name, but do not send passwords, access tokens, or API credentials.
