How to Offer Country-Based Pricing for Your Podia Courses

Losing sales from international students because your course is too expensive in their country? Here's how to show location-based discounts on your Podia courses in 5 minutes.

The Solution: Parity Pricing Banners

Instead of manually creating different coupon codes or managing multiple pricing schemes, you can show smart discount banners based on where your visitors are located. When someone from Brazil visits your course sales page, they see a 30% discount offer. Someone from the US sees your regular price.

This is called parity pricing (or purchasing power parity), and course creators using this strategy report 20-30% increases in international sales.

How to Set It Up on Podia (5 minutes)

What you need:

• Your Podia admin access
• A free account at Evendeals.com
• 5 minutes

Step 1: Get Your Sales Page URL from Podia

1. Log in to your Podia dashboard
2. Open the product (course, digital download, or membership) you want to promote
3. Click on the three dots and click on View sales page



4. Copy the sales page URL from the address bar (e.g., https://yoursite.podia.com/your-course)

Step 2: Add the URL in Evendeals

1. Sign up at evendeals.com (free account available)
2. Create a new deal and go to Where to display
3. Paste your Podia sales page URL
4. Click Add URL

Step 3: Create Coupons in Podia

1. In Podia, go to Sales → Coupons



2. Create coupon codes for different regions, for example:
   • Code: 15OFF - Discount: 15%
   • Code: 30OFF - Discount: 30%
   • Code: 50OFF - Discount: 50%
3. You can use both percentages and amounts.



4. Save each coupon

Step 4: Add Coupons in Evendeals for Two-Way Sync

1. In Evendeals, go to Country Discounts
2. Map each country group to the coupon code you created in Podia:
   • Group 0.2-0.3: 15% with code 15OFF
   • Group 0.3-0.4: 30% with code 30OFF
   • Group 0.4-0.5: 50% with code 50OFF
3. Click Save Changes

Note: The coupon codes must match exactly what you created in Podia. Evendeals shows the right code to the right visitor based on their country.

Step 5: Copy the Evendeals Script

1. In Evendeals, go to the Add to Site tab
2. Customize your banner (colors, message, optional countdown)
3. Copy the installation script

Step 6: Paste the Script in Podia Settings

1. In Podia, go to Settings → General → Scroll down to find the Third-Party code section
2. Click on Edit



3. Paste the Evendeals script in the head or footer code field



4. Save

Done. Your banner now shows to international visitors on your Podia sales pages.

How It Works

When someone from India visits your Podia sales page:

1. They see a banner: "Special pricing for students in India - Get 40% off"
2. They click the banner
3. The coupon code auto-applies at checkout (or they copy it)
4. They pay the discounted price

Someone from the US sees your regular price - no banner, no discount.

VPN Protection

People using VPNs to fake their location and get cheaper prices is a real problem. Evendeals (paid plans) automatically detects and blocks VPN users, so only people who actually live in those countries get the discounts.
