Create FastSpring API credentials
In FastSpring, go to Developer Tools > APIs and create an API username/password for Evendeals.
Connect in Evendeals
Paste your API username and password. Evendeals validates them and generates a webhook HMAC secret.
Add a webhook URL
Add the Evendeals webhook URL in Developer Tools > Webhooks. Select order.completed and subscription.charge.completed, then paste the generated HMAC secret.
Create a FastSpring deal
Select your FastSpring product paths, currency, coupon prefix, and subscription discount billing-period count.
Set regional discounts
Evendeals creates FastSpring coupons and shows the right code to each visitor.

The integration follows FastSpring's current API behavior.
Purchase analytics are limited
FastSpring's documented webhook payload exposes discount amounts, not a stable coupon/code identifier, so Evendeals only shows visitor-side analytics for now.
Coupon create is an upsert
FastSpring creates or updates by coupon path. Evendeals uses the generated coupon code as the coupon path to keep refresh/delete deterministic.

What FastSpring credentials do I need?
Use an API username and password from Developer Tools > APIs. FastSpring uses Basic Auth and requires a User-Agent header for API requests.
Which webhook events should I enable?
Enable order.completed and subscription.charge.completed. Evendeals generates the HMAC SHA256 secret to paste into FastSpring.
Can Evendeals track FastSpring coupon purchases?
Not reliably today. FastSpring documents discount totals in the order and subscription charge payloads, but not the exact coupon code Evendeals needs to attribute redemptions.
Does FastSpring support fixed and percentage discounts?
Yes. Evendeals creates item-level percent or flat coupons and can scope them to selected product paths.
