How to Offer Country-Based Pricing for Your LearnWorlds Courses

Losing sales from international students because your courses are too expensive in their country? Here's how to show location-based discounts on your LearnWorlds site in under 10 minutes.

What You Need

• A LearnWorlds school (admin access)
• A free account at Evendeals.com
• 10 minutes

Step 1: Get Your Page URL

1. Open your LearnWorlds school and navigate to the course or pricing page you want to add discounts to
2. Copy the full URL from the address bar

Step 2: Set Up Evendeals

1. Sign up at evendeals.com (free account available)
2. Create a new deal and go to Where to display
3. Paste your LearnWorlds course URL
4. Click Add URL

Step 3: Create Coupons in LearnWorlds

LearnWorlds has its own coupon system. You have two options for creating coupon codes:

Option A: Payment provider integration (recommended)

If you use Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Dodo Payments, Creem, or Polar alongside LearnWorlds, connect your account in Evendeals and coupons are created automatically when you sync. This is the fastest approach.

Option B: Manual setup

Create coupon codes directly in LearnWorlds:

1. In your LearnWorlds admin, go to E-commerce → Offers
2. Create a new coupon-based offer (or edit an existing one)
3. Set the coupon code (e.g., 15OFF) and the discount percentage
4. Note: coupon codes are case-sensitive in LearnWorlds
5. Repeat for different discount tiers. For example:
   • Code: 15OFF - Discount: 15%
   • Code: 30OFF - Discount: 30%
   • Code: 50OFF - Discount: 50%

Step 4: Configure Country Discounts in Evendeals

1. Go to Country Discounts in Evendeals
2. Set discount percentages for each country group and enter the matching coupon codes:
   • Group 0.2-0.3: 15% with code 15OFF
   • Group 0.3-0.4: 30% with code 30OFF
   • Group 0.4-0.5: 50% with code 50OFF
3. Click Save Changes

Important: The coupon codes must match exactly what you created in LearnWorlds (case-sensitive).

Step 5: Customize Your Banner

1. Go to the Design tab in Evendeals
2. Customize colors, text, and position to match your LearnWorlds site
3. Preview how the banner looks

Step 6: Install on LearnWorlds

1. In LearnWorlds, go to Settings → Site → Custom Code
2. Paste the Evendeals script in the footer section:

3. Click Save

Done! Your banner now shows to international visitors.

How It Works

1. Visitor lands on your LearnWorlds course page
2. Evendeals detects their country and shows the adjusted price + coupon code
3. Visitor copies the coupon and applies it at LearnWorlds checkout
4. They pay the discounted price based on their location

US visitors (or visitors from high-PPP countries) see your regular price with no discount.

Beyond the Banner: Display Modes

The default banner works great, but Evendeals supports three display modes:

• Banner (default) — The floating banner. Customize colors, text, position, and countdown timers from the dashboard. Coupon code is click-to-copy.
• Custom Display — Turn off the banner and use CSS classes (ed-country, ed-discount-amount, ed-coupon-code, ed-country-flag) to show discount data inside your own pricing section. No JavaScript needed.
• API Mode — Call the Evendeals API directly from your frontend or backend for full control. Great for custom checkout flows and server-rendered pricing.

VPN Protection

Worried about people faking their location? Evendeals (paid plans) automatically detects and blocks VPN users, so only people who actually live in eligible countries get the discounts.

Auto-Refresh Coupons (paid plans) automatically rotate coupon codes after a set number of views. If someone shares your code publicly, it expires and a new one is created. Requires a connected payment provider (Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Dodo Payments, Creem, or Polar).

The free plan lets you test it with basic features. If you make just 2 extra sales from countries that weren't converting before, you've covered the cost of the paid plan.

FAQ

Do I need to create coupons on Stripe?

No. LearnWorlds has its own coupon system under E-commerce → Offers. Create your coupons there. Alternatively, if you use Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Dodo Payments, Creem, or Polar alongside LearnWorlds, you can connect your account in Evendeals for auto-sync.

Are LearnWorlds coupon codes case-sensitive?

Yes. Make sure the codes in Evendeals match exactly what you set in LearnWorlds.

Do I need to know code?

No. It's copy-paste installation. Just paste the script in LearnWorlds' Custom Code settings.

What if I have multiple courses on LearnWorlds?

Create separate deals in Evendeals for each course, each with its own coupon set. Or use one global coupon that applies to all courses.

Can I add the script to a separate landing page instead?

Yes. As long as you can add a script tag to your page, it works with any builder (Framer, Webflow, Swipe Pages, Carrd, WordPress, etc.).

Will this slow down my LearnWorlds site?

No. The script is 5KB and loads asynchronously.
